I only truly started my gaming journey in December 2022, when my husband surprised me with a Nintendo Switch for my birthday. Since then, I’ve fallen headfirst down the cozy gaming rabbit hole—discovering everything from relaxing life sims to enchanting JRPGs that spark joy, comfort, and the occasional existential side quest.
Today, I play across my Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and MacBook, always searching for the next game that feels like a warm hug. Whether I’m revisiting old favorites or uncovering hidden gems, Pixels and Cocoa is where I share honest reflections, curated recommendations, and the joy of slow, mindful gaming.
But this isn’t just a cozy blog—it’s a bridge between game developers and the players who crave connection, emotion, and meaningful gameplay.
With a Master’s degree in Sociology (specializing in mental health, crime, and research methodology), and a professional background in mental health before pivoting to marketing, I bring a unique, people-first perspective to the gaming space.
