Fantasy Life: Tips and Tricks

  1. Spend time levelling up your lives. Also unlock at least a gathering and a combat, and miner right away.
  2. Talk to the tower in Ginormosia. Talking to the towers will give you hints at where the shines are.
  3. Go in all caves you find (and bring your miner with you) while these are mostly in the game for ore many caves have chests, and gathering items.
  4. Do the first 3 chapters right away because a lot unlocks including fast travel and your Animal Crossing like village.
  5. Build your buddies up which means exploring Ginormosia as you’ll need the stranglings to progress through the story.
  6. Complete chapters 4 & 5 early as well so you can unlock farmer and artist lives.
  7. Foragables (and enemies) respawn as you move between locations- take advantage especially at the beginning.
  8. Check in with your lives masters often and work through life challenges to rank up
  9. You can use the “move to nearest workbench” button in the weird pad to fast travel early.
  10. Make sure to switch between lives to level them up! Make sure you level up at least one gathering life and one combat life (I prefer alchemist and mercenary personally).

11. Make sure to register items to your bag so you can use them when battling bosses (this is why I also like the alchemist so I can make my own stuff rather then purchasing it.

12. Do daily activities! They will reward you with Celestia’s Gifts. These activities will also refresh as you do them and sometimes you’ll also get activities that will result in 2x the rewards. Make sure to do these.

13. Check the bulletin boards and do the tasks so you get the rewards.

14. Upgrade your tools! For example, get the cherry paint brush so you can do your crafting easier. Otherwise you will find it very hard to pass the crafting tasks (just see my ‘unlocking the artist’ video for proof hahaha).
